Career Advising Services

  • At The Glass Advisory, we help you get clearer about your work—and more confident in the decisions you make about it. Our career coaching is designed to help you understand what’s working, what isn’t, and what you want to change. That might mean refining your current role, navigating a transition, or exploring entirely new directions. Together, we identify what matters most to you and translate that clarity into a practical path forward - because meaningful work starts with knowing what you want, not guessing your way there.

  • We support you through the job search with structure, clarity, and momentum. That includes shaping your resume and applications, preparing for interviews, and thinking strategically about where and how you’re showing up. We offer honest feedback, practical guidance, and ongoing support so you don’t feel like you’re navigating it alone. Whether you’re making a shift or pursuing your next step, the focus is on presenting your experience clearly and pursuing roles that are right for you.

  • At The Glass Advisory, we help you be more intentional about how you grow in your current role. That might mean preparing for promotion conversations, navigating compensation or scope changes, or working through workplace dynamics that are getting in the way. We help you think strategically about how you advocate for yourself, build effective relationships, and position your work so it’s recognized, while staying aligned with what you actually want from your career.

“If you are lacking direction and inspiration, working with Courtney is a no brainer. She is so passionate about helping people find their purpose and she created a safe space for us to have the meaningful and vulnerable conversations that are required when you're rethinking your life path. She helped me recognize my strengths and identify the experiences I wanted to have on a daily basis in my career. This was so important for me in figuring out my next move and I couldn't have done that without Courtney's mentorship.”

What is career coaching and how can it help me?

Career coaching is an interactive, collaborative process. It’s about understanding how your work fits into your life, and how to shape it intentionally as things change. In our sessions, we act as both a thought partner and facilitator. We explore the work‑related questions you’re facing, identify what’s getting in the way, and turn insight into action.

That might include:

  • Clarifying what actually motivates you (beyond titles or external validation)

  • Naming your values - and noticing where your current work is misaligned

  • Translating your experience into a clear, compelling professional story

  • Building the skills and confidence to navigate change, not just this transition

The goal isn’t a quick fix. It’s helping you become more career self‑reliant - so you can make thoughtful decisions now and adapt well in the future.

Who do you work with?

We work primarily with professionals who have some work experience and are looking for what’s next - whether that’s landing a new role, finding more satisfaction in their current job, or thoughtfully pivoting their career altogether.

Can you help me switch industries or roles?

Absolutely. We help clients explore new directions, identify and translate transferable skills, and build a realistic strategy for moving into a new role or industry - without rushing the decision or glossing over the practical considerations.

Can you help me find a new job?

Yes. We meet you where you are. Sometimes that means starting with clarity - your values, priorities, and what a great role looks like for you. Other times, it means moving quickly to support an active job search. We help with resumes, application strategy, interview preparation, and job search planning, while making sure the roles you pursue align as closely as possible with what matters to you.

Do you specialize in any particular industries?

We don’t specialize in a single industry - and that’s intentional. We work with professionals across a wide range of fields, and our focus is on helping you clarify direction, translate your experience, and make thoughtful decisions that apply regardless of industry. The work is always tailored to your specific context, goals, and constraints.

How can you help me advance in my current job?

We help you get clear on what advancement actually looks like for you, then build a plan to move toward it. That might include preparing for promotion conversations, navigating compensation discussions, strengthening how you communicate at work, and identifying the skills or experiences that will support your next step.

I’m struggling with workplace relationships. Can you help?

Yes. We work with clients to unpack what’s happening, understand the dynamics at play, and build more effective ways of communicating and setting boundaries at work. The goal isn’t to “fix” people - it’s to help you navigate challenges with more clarity, confidence, and steadiness.

How do sessions work?

Coaching sessions are held virtually and are 30 minutes each. We meet weekly, with sessions scheduled on a monthly basis, and a 12-week minimum commitment for new clients. The content of each session is fully customized to your needs - whether that’s clarifying goals, working through challenges, or building and adjusting an action plan as things evolve.

How much does career coaching cost?

We start with a free 30-minute career strategy consultation to make sure working together is the right fit. Career coaching engagements have a 12-week minimum and are priced at $1,750. This includes a 60-minute intake session, ongoing 30-minute coaching sessions, and email support between sessions.

After the initial 12 weeks, additional time can be added for $650 per month when continuing month to month, or $1,750 when booking an additional three months at a time. One-off coaching sessions are also available at $250 per hour.
