The Glass Sessions Podcast
The Glass Sessions is a weekly podcast hosted by the two Principal Advisors of The Glass Advisory, Courtney and Lauren. The two met working their first “real” jobs in customer service in 2012 and have been navigating work and life side by side ever since.
At the heart of the show is a belief that guides their work: that work can be a powerful activator of a good life.
Each week, Courtney and Lauren explore how people build careers that support their version of a meaningful, joyful life. Sometimes that means conversations with guests who share the decisions, risks, relationships, and turning points that shaped their path. Other episodes are just the two of them reflecting on their own experiences advising leaders, navigating their careers, and building The Glass Advisory.
Along the way, they share practical ideas, questions, and tools listeners can use in their own lives and careers.
Expect thoughtful conversations, real stories, a few actionable takeaways, and plenty of laughter — all centered around one question: how do you build a career that supports the life you actually want to live?
New episodes are released weekly on Wednesdays. Subscribe on Apple, Spotify or anywhere you listen to podcasts.

Putting Your Performance Review Into Action (Part 2)
You’ve gathered the data, identified your wins, and finalized your performance review. The hard internal work is done. Now, it’s time to pivot outward.
In Part 2 of this series, we talk about visibility. Your performance review shouldn't just live in a file on your manager's desktop; it should be the foundation of your professional story for the year. We discuss how to translate your internal review into a public narrative, the specific updates you need to make to your LinkedIn profile right now, and how to authentically share your "year in review" with your network so you are always ready for the next opportunity.
Putting Your Performance Review Into Action (Part 1)
So, you’ve survived performance review season. The meetings are done, the feedback is delivered, and the document is signed. Now what? For most people, the review gets filed away in a digital drawer, never to be seen again until next year. But if you want to actually grow your career (and make next year’s review a breeze), this is exactly where the real work begins.
In this episode of The Glass Sessions, we kick off a two-part series on how to turn that static document into a dynamic roadmap for your year. We break down the immediate steps you need to take to move from feedback to clarity, ensuring that you aren't just "busy" this year, but impactful.
Setting Yourself Up For Success Through The End of The Year
The end of the year often feels like an exhausting sprint - a mad dash to close projects, meet targets, and push through until the clock resets in January. But it doesn't have to be.
In this episode of The Glass Sessions, we share how to close out the year with clarity, energy, and intention instead of just counting down the days. We discuss how to get ahead of year-end reviews, build genuine momentum on your most impactful goals, and communicate clearly with leadership about your trajectory for next year.
